We will try to do our best even after the deadline, however, we can not guarantee limit less spaces, thus weask for your reservation requirements as soon as possible. Attached we are sending the ”EKO Competitor liability form” of the championship and "EKO Healt Information" documents. (U-16 category need the parents signing) Please complete documents and sign your competitor. Every applicants should fill and signthe form (incase of U16 karatekas, the parents should signinthe name of theirchild), and returnit to the organizing committee. Please scan the document and send the electronic version in email and bring the original paper to the championship, aswell. All applicants must have a valid Budo-pass with the valid medical approval and valid grade.
We would like to call everyone’s attention, that the organizing committee can provide lunch – hot food for the participants and their accompanying persons. This option is only available if the lunch is ordered previouslyvia email from the organizing committee! This can be a good opportunity, because in the surrounding area of the sport hall there is no restaurant offering food for bigger groups.
THE DINER IN THE AQUAWORLD HOTELS: 3 course dinner: 18 Euro
In the sport hall a budo shop is going to offert-shirts, towels, souvenirs, programme book, etc. of the championship. These products can be ordered, aswell. If there is need from the applicants, sightseeing bus programmes are going to be organized for groups. If you are interested, please pre-register for the following optional days: Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, for participants or accompanying persons, those who have free time, for about a 2-3 hours long trip introducing the main attractions of Budapest. Tickets for the championship and also for the parties can be pre-ordered from the organizing committee. Due to the high number of the expected participants and visitors, and in order to make sure that everybody from your country can enter the sport hall/parties, please pre-order the tickets as soon as possible. After the Championship, on 25th November an International Kumite Seminar will be held in the central hotel. The seminar is going to have 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon, altogether 6 hours with trainings, participants will be separated to different groups (youth, competitor, coach-senior). The seminar is going to be heldby European and World champions according to a preorganized training theory and methodological concept. Applicants can still register to the 1 day seminar that costs: 30 EUR. If somebody sleep in the Hotel Aquaworld, than the cost is: 20 EUR
After the organizing committee has finalized the application of all the teams, we are going to send information abou tthe Championship: weighting time points, registration time zones of the teams, the detailed final programme of the event, the plan of the opening ceremony and anyother relevant information. Definition of a Cadet: a competitor is considered as a
cadet from: 1st of January in the year he/she will be 15 years
old to the 1st of January in the year he/she will be 17 years
old (practically born in 2002 - 2003).
Definition of a Youth U-21: a competitor is considered as a Youth U-21 from the date of birth he/she will be 18 years old to the 1st of Januaryin the year he/she will be 22 years old (practically born between 01/01/1997 – 23/11/2000)
Definition of an open adults category: a competitor is considered as adults open from the date of birth he/she will be 18 years old or over.
Definition of Test Team-Kata category: a competitor is considered as member of Test Team Kata from the date of birth he/she will be 18 years old or over. A team can contain 3 members + an additional 4th member where for each bout 3 members will be joining the kata. The team can contain male and female members and it is not necessary to include at least one member from each gender. (It doesn't have to be a mixed team, but it can be.)
Limit is 2 participants per country in each category, country organizer has one extra participant in each category. Additionally in open category also can participate all the medal winners of EKO and WKO Adults Championships in weight and open categories. All World and European adult championships medal winners can’t participate in the U21 championship. Participant, who take part in the U21 championship, can’t to participate in the Adult open weight championship on the next day.Competition Details
